Ameera Chawla

Ameera Chawla is a student of the British School in New Delhi, where she studies English, Hindi, Biology, Math, Business Management, and Sports Science as part of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. Deeply passionate about the intersection of sustainability entrepreneurship, she is also the founder of It’s a Vibe, a successful business venture and online community on Instagram that markets and sells innovative, eco-friendly gift-boxes. She has also had the opportunity to explore these topics through summer programs offered by Brown University and Oxford Royale, and through her writing on “Starting Up Sustainability”, an original blog which explores the transformative potential of eco-friendly businesses.

Project Disrupt.ed is something that is very close to her heart, for it allows her to combine her passion for promoting sustainability and broadening financial literacy with her zeal to give back to society in a tangible way. Through this project, Ameera wishes to equip women with the resources, technical know-how, and financial capabilities that are required for them to set up sustainable business enterprises.
